Tryouts for SPRING/SUMMER 2022

For the upcoming Spring/Summer 2022 season, the Clovis Rockets is  holding organization-wide tryouts.  We have twelve teams 10U-18U in the Clovis/Fresno areas and the South Valley/Visalia area.  Each team has specific team needs.  Take a look at the teams that best meet your needs, look at their website, and follow them on social media to attend any open workouts or if you need to schedule a private tryout.

All coaches contact info is on our Contact Us page and is also available on each team webpage.

IMPORTANT:  Before you attend a tryout or open workout, register online first by clicking on the link to the right.  You'll give us your contact info and sign all required waivers online.  All returning players are also required to register to tryout for their team's tryouts online every season.  Sign in using your existing account, and your past information from prior registrations will automatically carry over and auto populate.

Our Tryout Registration has been streamlined to just the basic info coaches need and required waivers.  For players who make a final roster for a Rockets team, you will receive a link closer to Spring/Summer 2022 to login again to pay dues online and submit final registration information needed (emergency contact and medical insurance info).

Thank you for your cooperation and support during these unprecedented times.  Our coaches and board members are continuing to do everything we can to provide a place for your daughter to play softball and the game we love.

Rockets Players, Parents & Coaches ONLY!

Our private Rockets-only Recruiting Library will be open for you to begin using December 2020!  Make sure players get registered for tryouts each season to keep uninterrupted access to this bedrock of information about the recruiting process.  Login to the Clovis Rockets website, and if you're a rostered member of a Rockets team and a parent of that player, you'll have the key to jump starting your recruiting journey.  Recruiting is a crazy ride, we are excited to be a part of your journey.  #rocketpower

President's Message

The Clovis Rockets started in 1992 and we recently celebrated our 25th year as a respected Girls "A" Travel Fastpitch Softball Organization.  Throughout this time our primary focus has remained on the development of the player both in the classroom and on the field.   The Clovis Rockets understand that our student athletes must first perform at the highest level in the classroom before they can step on the softball field.  Our coaches believe that the time and effort our players place into their education will reap rewards well beyond their softball careers.  As our players put forth the effort in the classroom, the Clovis Rockets coaches and staff members work tirelessly to elevate each player’s softball skills so they can compete and be successful at the highest level of competition.

Once our players have attained that level of performance, our organizations intense program of marketing your daughter within the college recruiting process begins.  Our coaching staffs understand that we must work tirelessly to promote our players and find them a home at the next level.  In seeking that perfect college we leave no stone unturned as we understand that this life changing decision involves each family’s education, financial, and athletic needs.  Our focused on-going recruiting program seeks out the greatest possible opportunities from every NCAA, NAIA, and JUCO interested in our talented athletes.

If these words strike close to home for you and your family and you would like to be part of a different approach, let’s see if the Rockets might in fact be a worthwhile opportunity for your daughter.
